Light bathroom makeover

So your bathroom is looking a bit tired and you're considering a full renovation. Then you see the cost! Often bathrooms don't actually need to be completely re-done. A light bathroom makeover involves removing and replacing silicone seals throughout resulting in a light, bright and fresh result at a fraction of the cost of a full reno. 


Please note that the bathroom makeover excludes the shower space, but even when you factor that in, you're still saving fat stacks of cash (and time!) compared to a full reno.

This was a beautifully tiled bathroom, but a few spots were letting it down. 


The owner had done a lot of the tiling himself and while the tiling was great, the finishing details were not and after 7 years the bathroom needed a light tidy up to make it look fantastic again.


After that I removed the silicone from around the vanity sink and bath table. I disinfected those areas and used a bathroom-grade silicone before detailing the area.
