If you have large-tiled spaces indoors or outdoors, you'll know how labour intensive it can be to keep them clean (especially if you've picked a light colour!) I can give them a deep clean that will leave the whole space looking bright and sparkly new. You'll be amazed with the results.
Read on to learn about the process I follow when cleaning tiles and grout.
This customer approached me while I was putting fuel in my van! He mentioned he needed his floors cleaned and asked if I could come and do a quote.
Before I do large internal or external cleaning job, I like to do a test spot in the dirtiest area first, to get an idea of the end result. The best spot to do this for indoor cleaning is in front of the cooktop as a lot of grease and grime is deposited when cooking.
We can then show the customer just how good the tiles will look once the job is completed. Straight away the customer was astonished at how well the test spots had transformed the look and cleanliness of the tile and accepted the quote.
The day before I arrived, the customer organised to move their furniture.
Using drop cloths, I masked off areas where we didn't want the chemicals to penetrate. Carpets, timber floors can be damaged if the chemicals on them. I then set up all the cleaning gear, I used a huge industrial quality Italian wet/dry vacuum cleaner which connects to a rotating pressure washer head.
The majority of the equipment stays outside and just the hoses and cleaning head are taken inside.
I sprayed the chemical down and kept the floor wet with chemical for half an hour. Using a brush, I scrubbed all around the perimeter of the room where the machine could not reach.
Using a grout brush, I scrubbed each grout joint, then slowly moved the pressure washer machine attached to the big wet/dry vacuum to break up the rest of the grime, neutralise the chemical and suck it away.
The area was then mopped with a finishing agent that prevents streaks and leaves the area smelling fresh. What a result!
